Somethings Heal Faster Than Others

[Silver]

~One by one people passed out of the castle by the time the night feel the healers were exhausted and all sat together talking about different remedies. Silver thanked them for all they had done for the people and the realm and offered them a place to sleep for the night. There had been a hospital of sorts and a refugee camp set up in the main downstairs rooms of the castle. While the hospital emptied the refugee camp was growing. Some peoples houses had burnt down and some just needed a place to stay for a while. Silver asked no questions of anyone and just tried to make them as comfortable as possible. There was an amazing spirit form the people that had kept her going for the last three tiring days but she did not sleep, she did not wish to be woken to bad news. She had heard of a princess in the castle but had left her to Caliden's capable hands now she looked over to one hospital bed where there was a woman who had fought as a man and fallen in battle, another princess but Silver had not revealed her identity yet and waited on Ruwen to ask what should be done. She sighed as accepted another drink and some bread and then ordered the healers to sleep, she would stand guard for the night and hope Ruwen would return soon...~

[Ruwen]

Ruwen sighed as he silently rode from the city streets finally coming to stop outside the castle. He climbed down from his horse and allowed one of the stable boys to take the horse from his leading it off to a stable. He sighed and breathed in a deep wheezy lung of air before pushing open the main doors to the castle.

Once he was inside he looked around and greeted those whom were temporarily inhabiting the main hall. He nooded to each and everyone offering them words of comfort and well wishes as he made his way across the halls and off towards the large staircase that followed the wall around and up to the next level.

Once he arrived at the top he nodded once more to the people below and waved a little before looking up and down the balcony. He smiled slightly as he saw Silver and made his way carefully towards thier room dorr where she was waiting. He nodded softly and opened the door for her, gesturing for her to enter first, still reamining silent.

[Silver]

~She went through the door first, she had seen him ride up to the castle and left the last few people do as they wished knowing that the majority of people still down there just needed rest. She felt nervous to see Ruwen as when she was healing that was often all that came to mind and she had not had the time to spend time thinking of him for the last few days. After all she had not even had time to sleep. She gazed at him as she took a seat and realised that he too was ill but suspected he would not let her try and heal him yet. She let a smile cross against her lips and took a seat watching as eh shut the door and came to join her, she was determined to not let herself be seen to be ill to him knowing he would conceal his wellbeing too.~

[Ruwen]

He carefully sat down in one of the few chairs in the room and sighed a little, it being the first time he had rested for a few days. He thought for a moment and fought back a cough very effectivly, making no sound atall. He smiled a little looking across to Silver as he finally rested back on the chair heavily. He looked her up anddown once before he began to speak in his usual calm and gentle voice.

So...How fares My Lady Silver This Eve?

[Silver]

~She was pleased to see him and yet anxious~

Well it looks to me that I'm as well as you

~For the moment she was glad to rest and was not willing to antagonise him as she herself needed to rest for a while and was glad to be in his company~

[Ruwen]

He thought for a moment and nodded his head a little, with a slight smirk. He didnt think for a moment that he would be able to hide his well being from her. He knew she would know and so, it made him think on the the comment and replied softly. For the moment he wouldnt press the matter or the details as all he felt like doing was sleeping or atleast resting but, he would given time find out what was wrong.

Oh, As well as that then....

[Silver]

~She decided to change the topic, there must be something Ruwen wished to talk about as they delayed sleeping and resting til Ardensia had healed and they had crippled themselves in the process.~

Is all well on the streets?

[Ruwen]

He sighed and looked out of the window for a moment before replying slightly thankful for the change of topic as he did so in his usual soft voice, yet showing some signs of minor aggitations and annoyances.

As well as they ever are in a dead kingdom....

[Silver]

~She smiled gently~

we would have to say undead at least after the way so many people came to the call of it in all shapes and forms. You could not be disappointed in your citizens if you had seen it from my point of view, people came together to help heal and rebuild and I'm sure that was more true out in battle otherwise you could not have won.

~She sighed~

Now if you shall not admit it I shall I am ill and tired and would much rather sleep then listen to your self deprivation. I know you are ill I can sense it I'm a healer so I shall heal you and then I shall sleep, I assume that would satisfy you.

[Ruwen]

He smirked a little and shook his head, he long golden blonde hair shaking lightly as he did so. Before replying again he though a little and forwned, looking down a bit.

I am nae disappointed in them but in myself.

He thought once more and then shook his head again before replying in a somewhat softer tone knwoing she would not be pleased by what he wpuld want. He didnt need healing, he would be fine, he didnt have time not to be..

No, that wouldnt suit me. Heal yourself, then we can goto sleep. I would have it no other way.

[Silver]

fine then lets us go to sleep, that is the only way that I'm able to heal but I'd be able to sleep with more rest if you were well. You have no reason to be dissapointed in yourself everyone helped under your name you should feel pride.

~She smiled lightly allowing a yawn to pass across her lips~

[Ruwen]

He sighed and yawned a little before rising from his chair and moved across the room, where he undressed before the bed slowly. He sighed and turned wearing nothing but his under garments and climbed into bed, waiting for Silver to join him before he would blow out the candles.

[Silver]

~She got to her underdress and climbed into bed resting her head upon his chest and pulled the covers over the two of them. It was still midway through the day but she had not slept for days and had spent little time with Ruwen all the time she had been there.~

HE moved one arms to lay under her neck and wrapped it around her. He sighed a little now somewhat contened and closed his eyes and allowed imself to fall asleep after saying.

~She feel asleep in his arms exhausted but happy, hoping they would not be awaken for a while yet before Ardensia needed Ruwen again~
